Spring Events 2025

Because of the need to face the upheaval and change we are now experiencing with clarity and equanimity, we are starting to make the internal, meditative work of our Tai Chi School more readily available.

My teacher was Patrick Watson, a senior student of Professor Cheng Man-Ch’ing.  Patrick was also a student of Oscar Ichazo, the author of Integral Philosophy.  Patrick introduced Oscar and Professor Cheng, who became friends, each of whom recognized the mastery of the other.

I will be teaching two Sunday classes, April 6 and 13, open to all of our current and past students. We will practice the form with an emphasis on the principles, and explore a deeper understanding of Tai Chi, the history of our school, the stages of learning within our curriculum, and insight into the meditative side.

Over the weekend of April 25 - 27, Paul Campbell, one of our most senior teachers who also has an extensive background in meditation, will be introducing some of the more internal awareness work of Tai Chi.  On Friday evening and Saturday, he will introduce it through the writing and teaching of Professor Cheng.

On Sunday, Paul will introduce some of the internal, meditative work that originated with Oscar Ichazo and which has been instrumental in shaping the curriculum of our Tai Chi school.

These events are for students who have taken or are taking Beginning Form, 1st Third. I hope you can join us,

David Goodell
